The whole concept is extremely accurate and well designed. This is characterized by the simple options for adjusting camber, toe-in and roll center. Toe in adjustments do not work through turnbuckles but by using different inserts in the rear wishbones. Adjustments can be done by a half degree at a time. Camber adjustment on both the front and rear axle is carried out by means of the distance shims. The powertrain of the Mecatech FW01 is fully equipped with fine gears, mounted on splined shafts. So no unwanted rotating gears on the drive shaft. Obviously, different transmission ratios are easy to adjust on each circuit by means of various types of drive gears. The Mecatech FW01 comes of course with the famous double-piston hydraulic brakes. This brake system belongs to the best available on the market for more then a decade. The shock absorbers are also successfully in use for several years by various manufacturers and top drivers and have proven to belong to the absolute top of the market. The servo support is available for one big steering servo (MPX Rhino, Xsone Powerservo etc.) or two small steering servos in standard size.
